• Assemble components required for finished parts and assemblies
• Operate balancing equipment to balance tool holders and custom products to specification
• Operate laser-marking equipment to mark standard and custom products
• Perform final visual, dimensional and functional inspections with precision gauges (metric and English)
• Identify and hold defective or nonconforming products; communicate quality concerns
• Apply rust preventive, label products and securely package finished goods for shipment
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, work instructions and manuals
• Verify conformance and complete manufacturing and inspection documentation accurately
• Follow operating, quality, safety and maintenance procedures
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and organized per SCHUNK’s 5S standards

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Comfortable with light assembly and operating basic production equipment safely and accurately
• Proficient in reading blueprints, sketches, drawings, work instructions, safety rules and procedure manuals
• Basic understanding of dimensions and tolerances; willingness to learn SCHUNK’s appearance and functional standards
• Experience with basic measurement equipment
• Working knowledge of metric and English measurement systems
• Able to perform visual, dimensional and functional inspections and recognize defects
• Clear communication, sound judgment and a collaborative approach to routine production or quality concerns
• Dependable with documentation, procedures and a clean, safe work area
